Welcome to the only hike tour to Eagle’s Nest!

The tour starts at 9:30 Mon-Fr and 10:30 Sat-Sun/Holidays.

This is what our Eagle’s Nest Hike Tour is about:

  1. Firstly, our mission is to offer an exclusive hiking tour experience. Venturing into the mountain by foot allow us to see WW2 locations no other tours see, and you have the chance of having an enriching experience instead of just taking a bus ride.
  2. Secondly, to get closer the events in history that changed the world. With a deep and interactive historical review, you will understand the events and people surrounding WW2.

Why is our Eagle’s Nest tour unique?

You will hike with your guide, who will orientate you in the mountain every step of the way and show you places that the forest has eaten away since 1945. Together, you will follow the footsteps of the famous Easy company part of the 101’st Airborne up the mountain. Made famous by the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers.

Visit the Alps, go up the mountain and enjoy the fresh air, green forest and awe-inspiring landscapes while bringing history to life.

This tour is perfect for someone looking for an experience out of the ordinary. It is a great for history buffs who like an active holiday. See our reviews here.

How hard is the hike?

We aim to enhance your experience by offering something unique, something beyond conventional mass tourism – the sensation of hiking with a friend, while also maintaining the utmost safety standards.

The facts:

  1. The elevation gain on the hike is 750 meters (or 2460 feet).
  2. Distance covered is 6.3 kilometers (or 3.9 miles).
  3. Duration 2 to 2:30 hours.

Hike together with your guide. We have climbed up the mountain many times and the secret to a good hike is pacing. Let us take care of that for you. Enjoy the history on the way up, the amazing views and you will see the Eagle’s Nest is in your reach.

Because of this a good rule of thumb is if you exercise regularly or if you can walk over 12.000 steps a day you are good to go. That can ensure you will enjoy the most out of the hike. You can check our pro tips to make your Eagle’s Nest hike easier here.

We pride ourselves the most on delivering outstanding customer service and experience. As a result of that our company has won international recognition by the Travel and Hospitality Awards. Therefore, let our years of experience be at your service and take away a memory of a lifetime.
